Els enterraments de la Perera: un context funerari tardoantic a Morella (Ports, Castelló)

Resum

Presentem ací els resultats arqueològics i antropològics (bioantropològics i paleopatològics) de l’excavació de dos cistes on s’exhumaren cinc individus. La seua datació absoluta, 660-770 dC (obtinguda mitjançant AMS), ens porta a un context crono-cultural poc conegut a la comarca dels Ports (Castelló, Espanya).

Abstract

In this paper we present the archaeological, bioanthropological and paleopathological results of two cists excavation where five bodies were exhumed. According to AMS analyses the cists were built up nearby 660-770 AD. Thus, this excavation work was the first one we obtained archaeological excavation data for this period at els Ports county (Castelló, Spain).
